  I brought in a transmission which needed to be resealed - Tom was a great guy to work with, very knowledgeable, and patient with my many questions. He charged me a very fair price (very fair for me) and after some time I was able to have him do the work. The job was done practically same day! I returned the day after (because I couldn't make it back that day). Nothing but great things to say about the shop, and would definitely be coming back God forbid I need anymore transmission work. These posters must understand that transmissions are a much more complicated device than say an engine, and considering the fact that most people put install used transmissions, there is no guarantee that the used part is in great shape. Not to mention a scanned code could mean one of many things, and it's not like it points you directly to the problem. If you want to avoid most transmissions issues learn to drive a manual...
