  I purchased a sole replacement and cleaning. The soles were replaced nicely, but the cleaning...well, my honey-colored shoes came back to me covered in some sort of brown spray. Even the blue shoelaces were turned brown. All the light stitching in the shoe was brown. I took issue with the owner, and he argued with me and insulted me and did nothing to try to compromise. I should have known as soon as I entered the store: If you go there (and you shouldn't), just take a look at all the derogatory signs he has affixed to the front of his counter and then decide if that's the kind of person you want to business with.
